The Minnie Room

When it comes to choosing one of our amazing guestrooms at Farmers Guest House, Minnie offers everything you need.  Named for the wife of Civil War General Eli Samuel Parker, Minnie is perfect for a getaway weekend. General Parker came to Galena as the superintendent of construction for the US Custom House, now the historic Galena post office, only a short walk from the inn.

This cozy retreat features and queen size bed and private bathroom with shower, separated from the bedroom area by a sliding antique door. Minnie offers a flat screen TV and a ceiling fan. Each of our Galena bed and breakfast rooms comes equipped with individual thermostats for your comfort.
