What is your cancellation policy?

A Bed and Breakfast stay is very different from a typical lodging stay.  When you make a reservation with us we are committing to you a specific room on specific dates and will not rent that room to anyone else.  The Farmers Guest House Bed & Breakfast is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 10 (ten) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation less a $50 processing fee.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel within the 10 (ten) day cancellation period, shorten your stay or check out early, you will be charged for your entire reservation at the time of cancellation. If we can rebook your rooms, a full or partial refund will be made.

Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and for special requests.  A 30 day cancellation notice is required on multiple room bookings, whole house bookings, and for some holidays and special events.

Do you have WiFi?

Yes, we have high speed, password protected, wireless internet throughout the entire property.

What time is check in and out?

Our standard check-in time is 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.   If you will be arriving outside of check-in times, please call or e-mail to make arrangements.

Check-out time is 11:00 AM.  A late check out time is not available due to housekeeping schedules.

Can I enjoy a cigarette or cigar on the property?

We are absolutely a non-smoking property indoors.  An outdoor area is designated for smoking.  Smoking in the buildings will result in cleaning fees with a minimum charge of $250.00

Are you pet friendly?

No pets are permitted due to owner and staff allergies. Please call for help in making arrangements to board your pet.

Is this a place to bring the family?

The Farmers Guest House is not suited for children under 14. Please call for a referral to a more appropriate lodging facility if you are travelling with children.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.  We do not accept travelers checks or personal checks.  Effective August 1st, 2013, third party gift cards cannot be used with any other promotion, discount, voucher or special as payment for any reservation.  In other words, third party gift cards can only be applied to full rate reservations.  An example of a third party gift card is a bedandbreakfast.com gift card.  Farmers Guest House gift cards are always welcome and considered same as cash.
